Overview

Tony’s Creepy Crawly Zoo 2.0 is a Meta Quest virtual reality application. To verify your purchases and deliver an age-appropriate experience, the app accesses and processes a limited set of data through Meta Horizon Platform features, described below. We do not operate our own servers, and we do not retain this data on any system we control.

Data the App Accesses and Processes

Through the Meta Platform SDK, the app receives the following data from Meta at runtime. This data is provided by Meta and is considered user data:

User ID: An app-scoped user identifier provided by Meta. We use it solely to verify your entitlement, meaning your ownership of the app and any purchased add-on content, so the correct content unlocks for you. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
User Age (age group): An age category provided by Meta through the Get Age Category API. We use it solely to present an age-appropriate experience and to meet Meta’s youth requirements. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

These values are received during your session and used on your device to operate the app. We do not transmit them to us, and we do not store a copy of them on any system we control.

Device Access and Permissions

Beyond the User ID and age group described above, the app does not access your device camera, microphone, precise location, or contacts. It does not include advertising, analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting, and it does not build profiles of users.

Internet Connectivity

Network activity occurs only through Meta’s platform, for the following purposes:

Installing the app
Downloading paid add-on packages
Delivering updates
Verifying your entitlement and age group at runtime

We do not operate our own servers for Tony’s Creepy Crawly Zoo 2.0.

Purchases

In-app and add-on purchases are processed by Meta. We do not receive or store payment card details, and we do not store order information, receipts, or purchase identifiers on systems we control. Entitlement verification confirms only whether you own a given item; it does not give us your payment data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent user data, and we do not share it with third parties. The User ID and age group are received from Meta and used only on your device to operate the app. Data that Meta holds about your account and purchases is controlled by Meta and governed by Meta’s own privacy policies.

Data Retention

We do not retain the User ID or age group after they are used for verification during your session. Because we operate no servers and keep no copy of this data, we hold no user data over time.

Data Deletion Requests

Because we do not store user data on systems we control, we have no stored copy to delete. If you believe we hold any data about you, or you wish to make a deletion request, contact us at bugwhisperer@creepycrawlyzoo.com. We will investigate and respond within 30 days.

Data that Meta holds about your account, age group, and purchases is controlled by Meta. You can review and manage that data through your Meta account settings and Meta’s privacy tools.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how Tony’s Creepy Crawly Zoo 2.0 handles data (for example, enabling analytics, crash reporting, online features, or backend services), we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the “Last Updated” date above.
