OUR MISSION:   Creepy Crawly Zoo is not about insects or education or even entertainment. The Creepy Crawly Zoo is a program that uses insects as a tool. It is educational and very entertaining. At heart, though, the Creepy Crawly Zoo is in the business of empowering youth. We use insects as a tool because they are everywhere and affect everything. No student has to go to the rainforest to see the amazing creatures of the Creepy Crawly Zoo. They just have to go into their own back yards. Sometimes not even that far! We take an educational subject that might otherwise be boring and turn it into an event that is inspirational. We open doors to budding naturalists that might have otherwise gone unnoticed. We show them how to replace fear and malice for what they don’t understand with curiosity and respect. This is our business and we do it well.
